Music Saves My Soul Saturday

Good morning ..... I am such an amazing mood today, it really feels good to be alive. I have a wonderful husband, great son and the best friends!!!! No, I am not still drunk from the wedding celebrations yesterday, lol ..... just feeling appreciative for what I have. Talking of the wedding, wasn't Kate's dress fabulous - she looked stunning! Her sister also looked beautiful and as for those cute little bridesmaids - too sweet. What a perfect day they had - I feel proud to be British and wish them all the luck in the world for their life together in the spotlight. My gorgeous friend Dawn and I had a wonderful day watching the wedding in York and then sat by the river toasting their future (ok, having rather a lot of wine, hehehe) and it was such a great way to spend the day.

Oki doki, back to the job of the day .... yep, let's get sharing some music with each other. I thought after the Royal Wedding I should try and use that as my inspiration so here goes ...... a little bit of Queen .... love this song, not heard it for a long time .... hope you like it to!

Hope you had the volume up full. I feel ready to start my day now ..... the sun is STILL shining - what a glorious April it has been.

So if you want to play along just pop a tune on your blog and if you would like to put the little logo and link back to my blog on your sidebar I would be ever so grateful. It helps spread the word which means we get even more great songs to listen to each week. Have a wonderful weekend, and if you are in the UK enjoy your Bank Holiday Monday too ..... all these days off are great aren't they.

Have fun xxx

Lili of the Valley – Love is in the air

Morning ….. only 1 day left til the big day …. I am sure you are all fed up hearing about The Royal Wedding but I have to admit I will be watching it tomorrow (ok, in the pub with my mate and some delicious vino) … but I will still be watching Wills and Kate tie the knot. There is, however, a rather more entertaining wedding this evening …. Channel 4 at 9pm… My Big Fat Royal Gypsy Wedding – OMG how much do I love this programme – cannot wait… pure entertainment!!!

So following on with the theme that has taken over much of the world, this week on Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog we would love to see you use the theme…

I had to go with the wedding theme rather than just the love option – wonder if the royal couple will get it my card in time if I send it by carrier pigeon???

How awful is life with no internet, OMG I felt to isolated. My router died last Friday and I was promised by Sky that my new one would arrive yesterday - needless to say it has not come. I couldn't manage another weekend without internet so I have just gone out and bought a new router to use until my other one turns up.

I was out last night and there were loads of great songs on .... can I remember a single one ... nope!

I just love Kylie so chose one of my old favourites by her - hope you like it.

If you want to play along just add your link to the thing below so we can all pay you a visit. If you would like to pop our cute little logo on your sidebar that would be so kind of you and will help spread the word.

Music Saves My Soul Saturday

Morning world, oooh it is the weekend and that means time for me, me, me lol. Thankyou to all of you who joined in last week on Music Saves My Soul - OMG we reached the dizzy heights of 15 people linking up - what a great selection of songs there were :o)

Well I am getting ever so organised, I knew what song I wanted to share with you a few days ago so here it is ... enjoy!

It reminds me of the late 80s ..... in particular Transvision Vamp ... OMG I used to love them. In fact, I am going to share one of their videos too - not often I post two!!!!!! Everyone used to say I looked a bit like Wendy James when this song was out but I am not sure ... think it was the blonde bob but hey, I am not complaining!

So there we go for another week ....... please join in and share what you are listening to this week. If you could add the cute piccie and link on your sidebar that would be fab .... any help spreading the word is appreciated. Remember to link your post below so we can all come and have a listen ..... see you next week xxx
